Instructions

  1. Warm the milk gently: Place milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Allow it to heat until you see steam rising, but do not let it boil.
  2. Mix the custard base: In a bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar and cornstarch until the mixture becomes smooth and light in color.
  3. Temper the eggs carefully: Slowly pour a portion of the warm milk into the egg mixture while whisking continuously. This step prevents curdling.
