Viral Cookie Croissant

Introducing the VIRAL COOKIE CROISSANT, but with a twist – my homemade brown butter, chocolate chip cookie dough! 😋 This dessert is pure indulgence, but trust me, every bite is worth it. I highly recommend pairing it with a glass of cold milk! 🥛🍷

For this recipe, I used my delicious cookie dough from my s’mores cookies. However, if you’re in a rush, you can always opt for store-bought cookie dough!

It’s simple – just stuff a croissant with cookie dough, and don’t forget to add some on top for extra goodness. While you can bake it in the oven, I went for the air fryer, and the results were amazing! 🤩

I highly recommend giving this a try this weekend! Let me know if you do!

Here’s the recipe:

Viral Cookie Croissant

Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons grass-fed butter browned
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 egg at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chunks

Method

  1. Start by making the brown butter on the stovetop. Once done, set it aside to cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cooled brown butter, vanilla extract, coconut sugar, and egg.
  3. Then, add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the mixture, and combine well.
  4. Finally, fold in the chocolate chunks.
  5. Divide the cookie dough evenly between two croissants, spreading a generous layer inside each and on top.
  6. I air fried mine at 350°F for 10 minutes, but you can also bake them in the oven.
