Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of cilantro
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 2 jalapeños (deseeded)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • Juice of 1 whole lime
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder (to taste)
  • Water (to thin out (optional))


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and pulse until smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste the chutney and adjust the salt or spiciness to suit your preferences.
  3. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more water a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired thickness.
  4. Store any leftover chutney in an airtight container or jar and refrigerate for 5 to 7 days. Enjoy the flavorful goodness anytime!
