Green Chutney
Ingredients
- 2 bunches of cilantro
- 1 bunch of mint
- 2 jalapeños deseeded
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons ginger paste
- Juice of 1 whole lime
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- Pinch of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder to taste
- Water to thin out (optional)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and pulse until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the chutney and adjust the salt or spiciness to suit your preferences.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more water a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired thickness.
- Store any leftover chutney in an airtight container or jar and refrigerate for 5 to 7 days. Enjoy the flavorful goodness anytime!
