Description

This thick and creamy birthday cake–style protein shake comes together in about five minutes and delivers a satisfying protein boost that keeps hunger away—while tasting shockingly close to cake batter straight from the bowl. It’s indulgent, filling, and feels like a treat you didn’t have to “earn.”

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana, frozen solid
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • 1 scoop vanilla-flavored protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons oat flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla pudding mix
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • 12 teaspoons rainbow sprinkles
  • ¼ cup (or more) birthday cake–style granola

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen banana, ice, milk, protein powder, oat flour, pudding mix, vanilla extract, and almond extract to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on low to start, then gradually increase to high speed. Let it run for several minutes until the mixture turns ultra-smooth, thick, and milkshake-like.
  3. Gently stir in the sprinkles and about half of the granola so you keep that crunchy texture intact.
  4. Pour into a glass and finish with the remaining granola and extra sprinkles if you’re feeling festive. Drink right away for best texture.

Notes

No protein powder? Replace it with ⅔ cup vanilla Greek yogurt and reduce the milk to ¼ cup. The shake will still be thick, creamy, and cake-batter delicious—just slightly less fluffy.
