Description
If you’re obsessed with pickles, this pizza deserves a permanent spot in your rotation. A rich garlic-infused ranch spread replaces traditional tomato sauce, mozzarella melts into every corner, and briny dill pickle slices bring that bold tangy punch. It’s unexpected, wildly satisfying, and built for serious pickle fans.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup thin dill pickle slices, thoroughly dried
- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped dill (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly coat a pizza pan or baking sheet with oil or nonstick spray.
- Roll out the pizza dough and press it evenly onto the prepared pan.
- Stir the ranch dressing and minced garlic together in a small bowl until smooth. Spread the mixture across the dough, keeping a narrow edge uncovered for the crust.
- Scatter the shredded mozzarella evenly over the ranch base.
- Lay the pickle slices across the cheese in a single, even layer.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust turns golden and the cheese bubbles and melts completely.
- Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle fresh dill over the top.
- Slice and serve while hot and melty.
Notes
- Dry the pickle slices well before adding them to avoid excess moisture on the crust.
- Adjust the garlic level depending on how bold you want the flavor.
- Swap in homemade dough or another prepared crust if preferred.
- For subtle heat, stir a pinch of red pepper flakes into the ranch mixture before spreading.
