Description
This caramel apple dump cake is pure set-and-forget comfort: layer a few pantry staples in your slow cooker and you’ll end up with a warm, sticky, buttery dessert packed with caramel-apple goodness.

- 2 (standard) cans apple pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Lightly grease the inside of a 6-quart (or larger) slow cooker.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the cooker.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the apples — don’t stir.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, then spoon or pour the caramel sauce over everything.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for about 2–3 hours, until the top turns golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
- Serve warm (vanilla ice cream or whipped cream are optional but awesome).
