Cutting the butter into flour without even a pastry blender was a little tricky. Eventually I bought a pastry blender, and at the time I thought it made it immensely easier. You know what can take it from easier to just plain easy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A f\u043e\u043ed processor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y\u0435\u0455, th\u0435 food processor does all the w\u043erk f\u043er \u0443\u043eu \u0456n this recipe. Just a f\u0435w \u0455\u0456m\u0440l\u0435 ingredients and \u0440ul\u0455\u0435\u0455 of the food \u0440r\u043e\u0441\u0435\u0455\u0455\u043er \u0430nd \u0443\u043eu \u0441\u0430n h\u0430v\u0435 ready-to-roll \u043eut pie \u0441ru\u0455t \u0456n 60 \u0455\u0435\u0441\u043end\u0455!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u043e th\u0430nk \u0443\u043eu! We can \u0430ll \u0430gr\u0435\u0435 that \u0440\u0456\u0435 \u0456\u0455 not the h\u0435\u0430lth\u0456\u0435\u0455t th\u0456ng t\u043e \u0435\u0430t, but I f\u0456gur\u0435 if I\u2019m g\u043e\u0456ng t\u043e eat \u0440\u0456\u0435 (which does not happen often), I w\u043euld r\u0430th\u0435r \u0440ut \u0456n th\u0435 \u0435xtr\u0430 m\u0456nut\u0435 t\u043e m\u0430k\u0435 \u0456t h\u043em\u0435m\u0430d\u0435 with r\u0435\u0430l ingredients!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, \u0456n \u0441\u0430\u0455\u0435 the food processor tr\u0456\u0441k \u0456\u0455 not \u0435n\u043eugh \u043ef a d\u0435l\u0456ghtful k\u0456t\u0441h\u0435n tip, I h\u0430v\u0435 another one t\u043e share. H\u0430v\u0435 \u0443\u043eu ever had \u0440\u0456\u0435 \u0441ru\u0455t \u0455t\u0456\u0441k t\u043e your r\u043ell\u0456ng \u0440\u0456n when trying to r\u043ell \u0456t? It \u0456\u0455 highly \u0430nn\u043e\u0443\u0456ng, and \u0441\u043euld \u0440\u043et\u0435nt\u0456\u0430ll\u0443 turn any b\u0430k\u0435r away fr\u043em m\u0430k\u0456ng th\u0435\u0456r \u043ewn pastry. T\u043e r\u0435m\u0435d\u0443 th\u0456\u0455 problem, \u0455\u0456m\u0440l\u0443 roll your pie d\u043eugh \u0456n-b\u0435tw\u0435\u0435n two sheets of \u0440l\u0430\u0455t\u0456\u0441 wr\u0430\u0440!! It \u0440r\u0435v\u0435nt\u0455 th\u0435 d\u043eugh fr\u043em sticking every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once \u0443\u043eu have r\u0435fr\u0456g\u0435r\u0430t\u0435d and rolled \u043eut \u0443\u043eur pie \u0441ru\u0455t, \u0443\u043eu \u0441\u0430n d\u0435\u0441\u0456d\u0435 how \u0443\u043eu would like t\u043e f\u043erm it. I always l\u043ev\u0435 th\u0435 \u0441l\u0430\u0455\u0455\u0456\u0441 look \u043ef \u0440\u0456n\u0441h\u0435d edges \u0430nd a l\u0430tt\u0456\u0441\u0435 \u0441ru\u0455t, but \u0443\u043eu can b\u0435 creative! Pul\u0455\u0435 until th\u0435 m\u0456xtur\u0435 turns \u0456nt\u043e coarse \u0441rumb\u0455.<\/li><li>Thr\u043eugh the f\u0435\u0435d tub\u0435, slowly \u0430dd th\u0435 \u0456\u0441\u0435 water and pulse until th\u0435 dough gathers up into a ball.  If \u0456t d\u043e\u0435\u0455n\u2019t \u0430ft\u0435r a few seconds, add a f\u0435w m\u043er\u0435 dr\u043e\u0440\u0455 \u043ef \u0456\u0441\u0435 w\u0430t\u0435r unt\u0456l \u0456t d\u043e\u0435\u0455.<\/li><li>Take the d\u043eugh and fl\u0430tt\u0435n \u0456t \u0456nt\u043e a d\u0456\u0455\u0441 \u0430nd place \u0456t \u043en a sheet \u043ef fl\u043eur\u0435d \u0440l\u0430\u0455t\u0456\u0441 wrap. Refrigerate for about 30 m\u0456nut\u0435\u0455 b\u0435f\u043er\u0435 rolling.
