Introducing the VIRAL COOKIE CROISSANT, but with a twist – my homemade brown butter, chocolate chip cookie dough! 😋 This dessert is pure indulgence, but trust me, every bite is worth it. I highly recommend pairing it with a glass of cold milk! 🥛🍷
For this recipe, I used my delicious cookie dough from my s’mores cookies. However, if you’re in a rush, you can always opt for store-bought cookie dough!
It’s simple – just stuff a croissant with cookie dough, and don’t forget to add some on top for extra goodness. While you can bake it in the oven, I went for the air fryer, and the results were amazing! 🤩
I highly recommend giving this a try this weekend! Let me know if you do!
Here’s the recipe:
Viral Cookie Croissant
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons grass-fed butter browned
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 egg at room temperature
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Start by making the brown butter on the stovetop. Once done, set it aside to cool.
- In a bowl, mix together the cooled brown butter, vanilla extract, coconut sugar, and egg.
- Then, add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the mixture, and combine well.
- Finally, fold in the chocolate chunks.
- Divide the cookie dough evenly between two croissants, spreading a generous layer inside each and on top.
- I air fried mine at 350°F for 10 minutes, but you can also bake them in the oven.
